A few months ago, Emma was pregnant and in an emotionally abusive relationship with her now ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately, stress and complications terminated the pregnancy after only being 11 weeks. Keith, the ex-boyfriend, blamed her for the loss of their baby and told her she wasnโt good enough to even be a mother. He irrationally, and vehemently, claimed it to be her fault. Emma couldnโt fathom why or how someone could be so heartless. But, she didnโt say a single word; sitting in silence, sobbing as he spat out disgusting, derogatory remarks about her. Fearing that he may strike her if she spoke up. The loss alone was deeply depressing, but placing undue guilt for something out of her control completely shattered her heart to pieces. That was her breaking point; vowing to escape him without any hesitation. A few weeks later, during the afternoon, with the assistance of a close friend, she packed a few of her things into a suitcase while Keith was out and moved in with her briefly until the situation settled. Going so far as to get a restraining order against him thereafter. Currently, she lives alone in a single story, one bed, 1.5 bath house.
